The Team


Established in 2003 as eclipse Staging Services LLC, the eclipse Group of companies has grown, both organically and by strategic acquisition, over the course of the last decade into a major player within the Middle East’s event industry.

Comprising of several unique event technology suppliers, each specialising in a different area of the rental market, the strength of the eclipse Group is in its diversity, and we are able to ensure that whatever a client’s technology requirements, we are able to satisfy them.

Mark Brown

Group Chairman

Mark formed eclipse Staging Services LLC in Dubai in 2003. Since then eclipse has grown into a leading technical services company working throughout the GCC with a reputation for excellent customer service and event delivery. He has been in the events industry for over 25 years having worked with his company Laser Grafix, based in the UK and UAE. Laser Grafix still provides lasers to many of the major concerts and public events worldwide.

Mark has built eclipse to become one of the leading technical suppliers in the region by only using high quality industry standard equipment; and by keeping abreast of the latest technology on offer globally he ensures eclipse remains as a market leader.


Simon Ransom

Group COO

With over 30 years experience in the entertainment, conference and event industry, Simon has played many different roles over the years. Whether it is as a projection technician or stage manager, Technical Director for Jean-Michel Jarre’s “Europe in concert” tour or as the Technical Producer for the opening ceremonies of the Atlantis The Palm Jumeirah Resort in Dubai Simon has been involved in many events, big and small.

Having worked through the technical ranks from the ground up, Simon has a broad technical knowledge that he brings to bear in the his role as COO.

Simon has been based in Dubai for more than 20 years, and was appointed the eclipse Group’s COO in 2012. Simon continues to occasionally act as an independent consultant and technical director/producer to the conference and live events industry in the region and beyond.


Jemma Joy

Consultant to the Group CEO and COO

Jemma is an accomplished Event Professional with over 10 years practical and theoretical experience in the Regional Live Events Industry. In the early stages of eclipse Staging Services, she was involved in various elements of the business, even taking on the management of one of the company’s subsidiary businesses, Vivacious. 

After receiving her Marketing Degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Event Marketing Jemma decided to take the bold move of going freelance in the Middle East events market and it was this move that brought her several years of rapid career development having to learn new skills at each corner working on a vast array of events in a broad range of roles.  Whether she was an Operator, Site Manager, Show Caller, Health and Safety Manager, Stage Manager, Production Manager or Account Manager, the years of freelancing gave her opportunities to work on large public and governmental events such as Red Bull X-Fighters, Expo2020 Theme Symposium, Music Concerts with Live Nation, the Tribeca Film Festival in Doha, several Royal Weddings and many National Day events across the region.

Now, with a background of diverse expertise in the industry, Jemma has re-joined the eclipse team as a Consultant to the Group CEO and COO where she will be focusing on the continuing growth of the eclipse Group at a strategic level as well as taking on specific business projects that will benefit from her detail orientated attention.


Aleksandra Morazain

Group Financial Director

With a solid professional background in finance and accounting, Aleksandra has global experience working across a variety of industries including manufacturing, events and legal services.

Prior to joining eclipse in 2014, she spent 8 years working as a financial analyst for a range of major international law firms in both Canada and the UAE, during which time she led several major changes including business strategy development, finance department reorganization and implementation of a new financial software.

Aleksandra’s role with the eclipse Group sees her optimizing the company’s financial operation and providing strategic support to the organization in regards to the group financial activities by defining, developing and implementing plans, policies and procedures as well as managing the relations with financial institutions, investors and government agencies.

    


Shinoi Korah

Group Financial Manager

Having completed his Masters in Commerce and pursued his career in his home land of India for 6 years, Shinoi moved into UAE in 1997 and has been working in the country for over 17 years now.

Shinoi has been part of the eclipse Group since 2005 and has been using his experience in liaising with the management to plan and implement accounting strategies to help the company achieve their goals. 


Shiella Manzano

Group Human Resources Manager

After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences from the University of the Philippines, Shiella joined her family in the UAE and started her HR career with the Azadea Group, one of the largest retail companies in the MENA Region, where she quickly progressed in her role as the Performance Management Team Leader.

Chartered Institute of Professional Development (CIPD) certified and with almost 10 years of extensive HR-focused experience, specializing in performance management, assessment centres, coaching, learning & development, employee engagement, employee relations, resourcing & talent planning, and employment law, Shiella Manzano joined the eclipse Group as the Group Human Resources Manager in March 2014.

Shiella’s focus at eclipse is to develop and deliver people management strategies which support the Group’s overall strategic aims and objectives by providing expert professional advice and support to managers and employees on all aspects of people management, current employment legislation and best practices.

  


Timothy Ransom

Group IT/IS Manager

Timothy joined eclipse in early 2011 and soon started taking the lead with the company’s IT Infrastructure and resources. With his skills and communication he has worked his way through the company's ranks, including Technical and Operations roles, and he was invited to lead the eclipse Group IT Department as Group IT/IS Manager.

Now overseeing all aspects of Information Technology and Information Systems for the Group, Timothy’s focus is on supporting the company in remaining one of the industry’s leaders as well as ensuring its ability to provide one of a kind service to its customers. With a keen insight into technology he looks forward to continuing the Group’s commitment to high quality and global standards.


Georgina Rawlings

Group Marketing & Communications Manager

Georgina began her event marketing career in London at exhibition organiser, Ocean Media Group. Progressing quickly, Georgina was responsible for the marketing of a wide range of exhibitions in a variety of markets from high-end bridal to social housing and the industry leading Boat & Caravan Show which attracted 100,000 visitors annually.

Georgina relocated to the UAE in 2011 where she took on the role of marketing manager at Informa Exhibitions for the newly launched Middle East EVENT Show, as well as PALME and the highly respected Middle East EVENT Awards, where she quickly gained an in-depth knowledge of the region’s event and professional audio visual industries.

In early 2014, Georgina decided it was time to move away from the exhibitions industry and took up her position with the eclipse Group, where she has focused on redeveloping the marketing communications and branding strategies for all companies within the group.


Manu Abraham

Group HSE Manager

After completing post-grad studies in engineering, Manu Abraham decided to focus his profession on Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and obtained his diploma in Industrial Safety with the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH). Manu worked for a year in the UK as an HSE advisor at an MEP company before moving to the UAE and taking the role of deputy HSE manager at an engineering company.

Manu joined the eclipse Group in June 2012, where he provides specialist advice to the management team regarding matters relating to health and safety risks. This includes protecting staff safety by making sure risks in the workplace are identified, evaluated and properly controlled, as well as ensuring that employees comply with all aspects of UAE laws and regulations.

    


Kate Hamilton

Group Marketing & Communications Executive

Beginning her career as an event coordinator with British based events consultants, assisting in running the public entertainment areas in Yas Marina Circuit during its second Formula 1 weekend, Kate then carried her Motorsport enthusiasm to Australia where she managed the Social Media for a team in the Fujitsu Series in the V8s.

Now, back in the UAE after working with a locally owned Public Relations consultancy agency, servicing clients from government organisations and hotels to fashion brands and schools, she has joined the eclipse team equipped with her knowledge of the different practices within the events industry to assist in Group wide marketing and communication strategies.
